1. Listings are duplicated. The same property appears multiple times at different prices, creating confusion and destroying price credibility. Buyers lose trust in the market, and sellers lose control of positioning.
2. Prices are often unrealistic. This means some assets stay on the market for too long, leading to longer selling times and forced adjustments. Price reductions follow, and inevitably the perceived value declines.
3. Buyers face fragmented and inconsistent information. They rarely have direct access to property owners, so decision-making can be slow. They will often visit the same property with different agents and receive conflicting information. As a result, confidence decreases and many buyers delay or abandon the purchase.
Traditional property sales models rely on exposure. In contrast, VERTUOM limits its listings to focus solely on exceptional properties. We operate as an independent digital platform. We do not share our platform, listings or data with other agencies or agents. This allows us to stay in complete control of all pricing, information, marketing and decision-making. We work direct only, building relationships with both property owners and buyers.
An exceptional property is not defined by visual appeal alone – it is chosen because it meets at least one of VERTUOM’s eight exceptional property standards.
VERTUOM applies a fixed 4% commission. This is lower than the 5–6% typically charged by traditional agencies.
